During Founding Week 2022 from 14.11.2022 to 20.11.2022, young entrepreneurs and prospective entrepreneurs have the opportunity to expand their entrepreneurial skills and express their creativity, can exchange ideas and experiences and find out about various funding opportunities.

Experienced companies and other partners on the subject of start-ups share their knowledge in various lectures, workshops, seminars, etc. during Founding Week, thus providing participants with an extensive network of contact persons.

BioCampus Cologne and RTZ Cologne are taking part in the Founding Week with a presentation and detailed workshop on the topic of “No- & Low-Code Development for Startups”.

Our colleague and webflow expert Steffen Biller shares his expertise in the workshop and shows how to develop his own website step by step. The two-day workshop starts with a presentation on the important basics for no-code development.

Presentation on No-/Low-Code Development for Startups

No-code development is a type of (web) development that allows non-programmers to create software using a graphical user interface instead of writing code. The no-code movement is based on the fundamental belief that technology should enable and facilitate the creation of software, rather than being a barrier to entry. In the presentation, you will learn why startups can benefit from a no-code platform.

In the subsequent workshop, you will develop your own website using the no-code platform Webflow.com.

The workshops are divided into the following parts:

I Introduction to the no-code Webflow platform

In the first part of the workshop, the basics of the no-code platform Webflow are created. You get an overview of the user interface and its functions.

II Lend a hand - we create a website

In the second part of the workshop, you get involved yourself. You create a fully functional website for your company and learn how to create designs, layouts and contact forms with just a few clicks and bring them to life.

III The basic framework is in place... what now?

In the last part of the workshop, you will learn what a visual database is, how to manage, organize and dynamically use its content for your needs.
